Symphonic Band
The Skyline Sypmphonic Band comprises of Band A and Band B. Band A Meets during first semester and is also known as marching band it performs at all the football games as well as Parades and Marching Competitions. Symphonic Band B meets during second semester and participates in Concert Band festivals In addition to Regular public concerts. Symphonic band is taught under the direction of Tim Watt With the help of Mr. Coble as a marching instructor, and Garry Loyd as a brass instructor during the marching season.
Skylines Symphonic Band comprises of many instruments from the high pitched basoon to the low and majestic Concert Tuba. Skyline currently has over 80 players With a large woodwind that makes up more than half the band along with10 trumpets - 8 trombones - 3 uphoniums (baritone) - and 3 tubas. Skyline's band program is constantly recieving new and talented players with many of our players that play up to 4 or 5 instruments with great skill. We are also proud to support many of our musicians who play in private bands, district honor bands and all state bands.
