About Skyline Band Programs
Skyline high school resides in the bustling city of Longmont Colorado. Along with Niwot high school and Longmont high school it was one of the first high schools in longmont. The music program in Skyline comprises of Drum line, Marching band, Jazz band and Symphonic band. our High School is also proud to host The Vance Brand Auditorium.
The Skyline Band program has come from a strong past, winning many awards and marching in various parades, community events, holidays, and judged contest. The Skyline Band program is committed to excellence and always strives to give its members the best training in music as well as in life.
Skyline has recently received a new head director Tim Watt who has taught in various schools across the united states. His last competitave marching band received a 93 at state finals. His goal for Skyline is to take what tallent it has to offer and make every thing grow and become stronger. Tim Watt has also brought back to the school competitave marching wich in recent years under the old director diminished and in a recent contest hosted by the Colorado Band Masters Asociation or CBA the school received 44.85. Skyline Marching Band hopes to use this as a stepping stone and in the coming years to become a stronger band program.

This is the Skyline High School Falcons Marching Band, marching at Longmont Colorado's, yearly veterans day parade. This photo was taken in 2007 but since then under the new direction of head director Tim Watt the band has grown to over 80 members with one of the biggest drum lines in the district.
